34 Stopping and parking

The driver, who wants to stop, has to take care of vehicles behind. Stopped vehicles must not interfere with or hinder traffic. Where possible, vehicles must be parked in parking lots. On the roadway may only be stopped at the edge and parallel to it.

Stopping on the left side of the street is forbidden.

Exceptions:

a. If a tram track runs on the right.
b. If a parking or stopping ban is on the right.
c. In narrow streets with low traffic.
d. In one-way streets.
