25 Behavior in the case of pedestrians On pedestrian crossings, be particularly careful. In the case of areas without traffic regulations, each pedestrian or user of a vehicle-like device, which is already on the area, or is already waiting to use it and wants to cross the road, will have to be given priority. In order to grant the right of way, it is necessary to stop. If the traffic is queuing, the driver must not stop on the pedestrian crossing. In the case of junctions with traffic regulations, vehicle drivers have to allow the pedestrians or users of vehicle-like devices to cross the intersecting road. This does not apply to traffic lights, where the traffic is released by a green arrow and no yellow warning light flashes. On roads without pedestrian crossings, the driver has priority before pedestrians, unless he is traveling in a line of traffic. Unaccompanied blind persons are always to be given priority when they indicate with the white pole that they want to cross the road.
