22 Traffic lights Traffic lights precede the general advance rules, right of way signs and road markings.
Green light releases traffic. When turning, the pedestrians and users of vehicle-like equipment on the intersecting road must be given priority. When turning left, oncoming traffic has priority. The intersecting traffic has a red light. If the traffic stops and the vehicle after the light change would block the junction, it must not be driven despite green light. Green arrows allow traffic in the indicated direction. Turning vehicles have priority over the traffic and the pedestrians on the crossroad. The intersecting traffic, the pedestrians on the intersecting street and the oncoming traffic have a red light.
