Rule of thumb For the calculation of stopping distance without readiness for braking and on dry roads.
Example: Stopping distance at a speed of 80 km/h. Calculation: 7 + (80 x 80 : 100) = 71 m Example 2: Stopping distance at a speed of 50 km / h. Calculation: 7 + (50 x 50 : 100) = 32 m
