Motorcyclists are not allowed to carry objects which make signaling impossible or endanger other road users. Items carried must not exceed 1 m in width. Unless a more stringent penalty is applied, fines will be imposed on persons who make unauthorized modifications to a vehicle (for example, to increase the maximum speed), assist or instigate such a modification. Wearing protective helmets The riders and passengers of motorcycles, with or without sidecar, as well as of small motorcycles and mopeds, must wear protective helmets while driving. Lighting The following lights and reflectors must be attached to a motorcycle: a. In front: a high beam, a low beam and a parking light. b. Rear: a taillight, a brake light, indicator lights and a non-triangular rear-reflector.The following lights and rear-reflectors must be attached to a moped: a. In front: a low beam. b. Rear: a taillight and a non-triangular rear reflector. c. Front and rear pedal pedals with a luminous area of at least 5 cm2 each
