507 Direction panel. This additional panel with an arrow pointing to the left or right, is pointing in the direction in which there is a danger, a restriction applies or a regulation has to be followed.

The signal is used:

- with the signs "Cycle path" (260), "Footpath" (261) and "Bridle path" (262), if such a route is to be used on the other side of the road.
- with the signs "Parking is prohibited" (250) or "Parking permitted" (417), indicating the direction in which there is an area on which, for example, parking is prohibited.

509 Direction of the main road. This panel shows the route of the main road. In connection with the signs "Stop" (301) and "No right of way" (302), announces to the driver that he must give the vehicles on the main road the right of way. Among the side roads, the vehicle coming from the right has priority. The thick line represents the main street.
