In the case of learning trips, the provisional license is required, but no accompanying person is required.

Driving license valid for vehicles of categories: G and M

G: Agricultural vehicles with a maximum speed of up to 30 km / h, as well as commercial carts, traction engines and Tractors with a maximum speed of up to 30 km / h on agricultural journeys, excluding special vehicles.

Anyone who has participated in a state-approved tractor course may also drive agricultural tractors with a maximum speed of up to 40 km / h and agricultural vehicles.

No first aid course is necessary to obtain the driving license for special categories F, G and M. For the categories G and M, no provisional license is necessary, since no practical driving test has to be completed.

2 Provisional license

Requirement:

Applicants for the class A, A1 and B provisional license must have completed the first aid course (valid for six years).

Eyes checked by an optician or ophthalmologist (two years valid).

Minimum age at registration:

The provisional license is issued after passing the basic theory test. The theory test can be taken at the earliest one month before reaching the minimum age.

Exception for Category B: The learning driving license can be applied for at the age of 17, not only from 18.

Procedure for obtaining the driving license:

Please complete the application form for your driving license. This can be obtained from municipal administrations, cantonal police stations and over the Internet.

Bring the ID card, application form, 2 colored passport photos and the first aid course confirmation to the resident's registration office, they inform the motor vehicle registration office. The application may be submitted at the earliest, six months before the minimum age is reached.

By mail you will get a form for registration for the theory examination. The provisional license is issued after passing the basic theory exam.
